Since 2005, UI Health has partnered with the Invitee Business firm to provide the comforts of dwelling house and the care of community for those who must seek medical treatment away from abode.
The IMD Invitee House is located 1933 Westward. Polk St., on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago, inside walking distance of the UI Wellness Hospital & Clinics.
The 50-flat building includes the following services and amenities:

- Handicap-accessible bathrooms (limited availability)

Since opening, the Invitee House has more 12,000 nights of service, and today more than than 450 volunteers offer their time and service to the Guest House.
The IMD Guest House is open to patients, families, and caregivers of all ages, receiving any type of handling. By giving proper intendance to caregivers and outpatients, the Guest House helps ensure that the patients themselves have the support they need to heal more than quickly and completely.
